Office of the Vice President, Academic

The Vice President, Academic (VPA) is the senior vice president and academic leader in the University. Working with a team of associate vice presidents, deans, directors and academic chairs, the VPA provides academic and administrative leadership to institutional planning, program development and delivery, student support services, inter-institutional collaboration, international affairs, and research in alignment with the university's mission and strategic goals.

The VPA works with the President and other members of the Executive on policy development and administrative and academic matters for the university.

In the absence of the President, the VPA is acting President.
